#rememberreminder: Delight in the Little Things
We are so excited to announce our newest series here on The Nostalgia Diaries! In case you haven’t noticed, we’re a big fan of consistency over here on the blog: we keep your feet tapping with Music Mondays, take you back on Throwback Thursdays, and share stories with our Everyday Nostalgia series on Sundays.
So it got us thinking — why not one more? Every Friday, we will be posting Remember Reminders. These simple images will hold simple reminders — brought to you in a classic Post-It note style — that we believe sum up one of the things we’re all about here on Nostalgia Diaries: offering gentle reminders to help make your todays worthy of remembering tomorrow.
For our first post of the series (well, it really wasn’t the first one — last’s week 100 Blog Posts! post dropped a little hint; we’re quite clever, aren’t we?), we are remembering to delight in the little things. Like in the excitement of starting something new (like a new blog series!)… Or the first blooms of colorful, spring flowers… Or the smile of a friend or a loved one after a hard day… Or that awesome moment you wake up one morning and realize that it’s finally Friday (TGIF!)…
The little things that bring unexpected joys to our days may be simple, but they are always delightful — and certainly worth remembering.

We will be posting our Remember Reminder series on the blog here every Friday morning, as well as on our and accounts. Just search the hashtag #rememberreminder to find us! And if you have any of your own post-it note Remember Reminders that we should know about, make your own and use the hashtag so we can share the love!
At the The Nostalgia Diaries, our goal is to help you simplify, enhance, and engage your lives by focusing on the most important things: remembering, appreciating, believing, and becoming. It’s all about celebrating the past to create better days today.
We’d love for you to join us in this journey.
P.S. Don’t forget to follow our colorful, creative spaces on , and . We’re fun and happy and whimsical and nostalgic over there, too. Pinky swear.

I love the idea of delighting in the little things!! The “big picture” can be awful overwhelming for me!
Yes, the big picture sometimes looks pretty overwhelming for me too! Little things are easier to digest sometimes, and those little moment can make the big picture seem not quite so big!
I love this! In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it’s so hard to slow down and be joyful about the little things.
It’s necessary to do it though… otherwise life is a blur!
