“Without a song or a dance what are we?” – ABBA
Mamma Mia! Talk about celebrating the past to create better days today! Swedish supergroup ABBA is planning to reunite in 2018 for live shows that “will utilize the very latest in digital and virtual reality technology.”
Benny Andersson of the group clearly understands the importance of nostalgia in connecting with fans today and in the future. He said of the new project: “We’re inspired by the limitless possibilities of what the future holds and are loving being a part of creating something new and dramatic here. A time machine that captures the essence of who we were and are.“
You can sign me up for a ride in that time machine, Benny!

Earlier this month, Bob Dylan, one of the most successful, well-known, and celebrated musicians—if not somewhat controversial—in our history, won the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature. Dylan is the first musician to receive the award, and his selection sparked many discussions on whether or not he truly deserved the prize due to the fact that he is a songwriter instead of an author.
All debates aside, there is no question that Dylan is a masterful storyteller. The messages and lessons that his music communicates transcend time and are ones to which we can instantly relate, no matter the generation we grew up in. Regardless of age, we are all bound to know a song or two by him. We’re sure you’ve probably familiar with some of his most famous tunes, like The Times They Are A Changin’ or Like a Rolling Stone.
